Since 22 May 2017, the European Investigation Order has become the single instrument to gather and transfer all types of evidence, including e-evidence, within the EU. Both EVIDENCE2e-CODEX and EXEC projects need to collect and analyse information on the current practices related to electronic evidence and the use of the European Investigation Order.
To be able to carry out this detailed analysis the projects' legal teams design a detailed questionnaire and now rely on project partners to ensure that they have the latest and most updated information. For this purpose, the EVIDENCE2e-CODEX Dissemination Team developed an online version of the joint questionnaire examining the legal, technical and operational aspects, training and data protection issues.
The survey results will be published by the end of 2018. Stay tuned!
